Government commences seed and fertilizer distribution in the country

The government has commenced the distribution of seeds and fertilizers for the 2025-26 farming season.

This initiative, part of the Pfumvudza/Intwasa project, aims to support both commercial and subsistence farmers in the country.

Transport and Infrastructural Development Minister Felix Mhona confirmed the distribution in a recent parliament sitting, stating that the ministry is working closely with the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development to ensure a smooth process.

Areas such as Kariba, Sanyati, and Bubi have already received the necessary agricultural inputs, and the distribution is ongoing in other parts of the country.
