Foreign-Based Players Bolster Mighty Warriors Ahead of AWCON Qualifier

The Zimbabwe Mighty Warriors have received a major boost with the arrival of foreign-based players ahead of their crucial Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifier against Angola.
The squad, which departed Zimbabwe on Monday, held their first training session in Angola yesterday. Captain Emmaculate Msipa (Israel), Yolanda Kanyai (Australia), and Thando Madzamuse (Tanzania) joined the team yesterday, adding considerable experience and talent to the squad.
Kanyai, a striker for Darwin Olympic Football Club in Australia, expressed her excitement about joining the team and urged fans to rally behind the Mighty Warriors.
The Mighty Warriors are scheduled to face Angola this Thursday, at Estadio 22 De Juno in Angola, with kickoff set for 16:00hrs. The return leg will be played in South Africa on February 26th.
