Empowering young women through Miss World Zimbabwe

Miss Universe Zimbabwe chairperson Miniyothabo Baloyi-Chiwenga has urged young women to take pageant like the Miss World Zimbabwe as tools of empowerment.
Speaking at the Miss World Zimbabwe pageant that was held recently in Harare under the theme “Beauty with a purpose”, Colonel Baloyi-Chiwenga on a speech read on her behalf by Kodwa Mkandla said these pageants are more that about beauty but about empowering young women in different communities.
Meanwhile, Courtney T Jongwe won the title of Miss World Zimbabwe 2025 this past weekend. The 23 year old from Manicaland, was also Miss Earth 2023, has seen her grace and beauty pay off again to represent the country’s flag.
