Liverpool surged further ahead in the Premier League table following a commanding 6-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.

The Reds showcased their attacking prowess, starting with early headers from Luis Díaz and Alexis Mac Allister.

Despite James Maddison pulling one back for Spurs, Liverpool regained control when Dominik Szoboszlai converted a sublime Mohamed Salah assist.

Salah, instrumental throughout, added two second-half goals to secure the emphatic win. With this victory, Liverpool extended their lead at the top to 39 points from 16 matches, sitting four points clear of second-placed Chelsea.

In other Premier League fixtures, Manchester United’s woes deepened with a humbling 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth. The Cherries, climbing to fifth place, are now firmly in contention for a Champions League spot. United, under new manager Ruben Amorim, have now lost three of their last four games and languish in 13th place.

Other results included a goalless draw between Everton and Chelsea, as well as a 0-0 draw between Fulham and Southampton. Leicester City’s struggles continued following a 3-0 defeat from Wolverhampton Wanderers, intensifying their relegation fears.
