The Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) successfully held its Sunday School Annual Conference at Chamabondo Primary School in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The conference, which started on December 5, 2024, and ending on the 8th of December, brought together Sunday school children from different parts of Zimbabwe.
According to Reverend Loveness Chipusa of CCAP, the conference provided a valuable opportunity for children to learn about various important topics. “We invited the police to teach the children about the dangers of drugs and human trafficking, and doctors to educate them on health and wellness,” Reverend Chipusa said in an interview.
Reverend Sinda of CCAP encouraged parents from Victoria Falls to bring their children to the conference, highlighting the importance of learning about the word of God and how to live by it. He also noted that the children were excited to be in Victoria Falls, a popular tourist destination, and would have the opportunity to explore and experience all that the town has to offer.
The conference was also attended by Mr. Mapopa, the Sunday school choir chairman from Malawi, who represented his country at the event. Mr. Mapopa expressed his gratitude for being part of the conference and said he felt blessed to share in the teachings and would convey the messages to his fellow Malawians upon his return.
The successful conference was a testament to the church’s commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth and development of its young members.
