Bulawayo Positioned as a Leading Hub for Green Investments

Bulawayo is positioning itself as a key destination for green investments, with stakeholders urging investors to tap into the city’s growing eco-friendly business landscape.

Speaking at the Bulawayo Investment Indaba, Bulawayo Economic Development Agency (BEDA) Chairperson Kwanele Hlabangana stressed the need for climate-conscious investments, emphasizing the potential benefits of green policies for local enterprises.

He highlighted an innovative Belarusian eco-friendly building method that could help address Bulawayo’s housing backlog. This technique involves using discarded materials, compacted with cement into concrete panels, which are then assembled on-site. Hlabangana noted that this presents a unique opportunity for investors in sustainable housing.
