Africa must transform itself through modernization of its industrial vice and trade within its borders: VP Mohadi

Vice President Kembo Mohadi says Africa must transform itself through the modernization of its industrial vice. Speaking while officially opening the ZITF 2024 Connect Africa Symposium, VP Mohadi said Africa must grow intra Africa trade to remedy its current circumstances.
He stated that there is a need to empower small businesses, particularly those owned by women and youth, if Africa is to move forward.
VP Mohadi reiterated that there is also a need to embrace a digital future, built on modern technologies such as e-commerce platforms.
He added that Zimbabwe stands tall through numerous inventions and discoveries from the country’s innovation hubs that are situated in institutions of higher education.
Zimbabwe has actively pursued regional and international trade agreements to open new avenues for innovators and entrepreneurs.
