ZRP Warns Companies Over Fake Documents

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has warned companies to be cautious of criminals using fake documents to commit fraud.
The warning follows a case in which a car rental company lost a vehicle to Mzingaye Ncube, who hired it under the pretense of attending a burial in Masvingo. Investigations revealed that the documents he provided were forged, and his identity did not match the details on the paperwork.
The stolen vehicle was last spotted in Vute along Chirundu Road. Police are continuing their investigation and have appealed to the public for assistance.
Bulawayo Provincial Police Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele, emphasized the importance of verifying documents to avoid falling victim to such scams.
