ZRP Investigates Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Bulawayo is investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on 11 January 2025 along the Harare-Bulawayo Road near Khumalo Barracks.

A male victim, believed to be around 65 years old, was struck and killed at the 410 km peg by an unidentified vehicle. The driver failed to stop after the incident, leaving the man dead at the scene.

The deceased is described as dark, medium-built, with grey hair, and was wearing a black jacket, black trousers, and a green raincoat. He was not wearing shoes at the time.

The ZRP has urged anyone with information or missing loved ones to contact Bulawayo Central Traffic Department or their nearest police station. Investigations are ongoing.
