Zimbabwe, Zambia Strengthen Agricultural Ties for Green Revolution

Zimbabwe and Zambia have taken a step towards fostering a stronger alliance for a green revolution, following a landmark meeting between Permanent Secretary Prof. Dr. Obert Jiri and a Zambian delegation from the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), led by Mr. Boaz Blakie.
In a statement, Prof. Jiri emphasized that the core priorities of the meeting included enhancing climate change adaptability through resilient infrastructure, leveraging technology to boost agricultural productivity through mechanization, minimizing food waste via post-harvest loss reduction, and strengthening the agricultural value chain for efficiency and productivity.
The diplomatic engagement has paved the way for future collaborations, reinforcing both nations’ commitment to a green revolution in Africa.
