Zimbabwe is gearing up for the 2024 – 2025 summer agricultural season launch, themed Zimbabwe Agriculture – Forward Together on 21 November 2024 at the Eastend Hall, Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) Business Hub in Harare.
The launch will aim to bring together key stakeholders in Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector to share valuable insights and perspectives on the upcoming summer farming season.
Organized by the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society and The Financial Gazette, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Water, and Rural Development, the event seeks to inform, educate, motivate and promote agricultural stakeholders towards a successful farming season.
The 2024-2025 summer agricultural season launch is crucial, especially considering the challenges faced by Zimbabwean farmers in the previous season where the country experienced a poor harvest due to drought and El Niño effects, resulting in increased food assistance needs .
