ZERA Announces New Fuel Prices for May 2025

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced new fuel prices effective May 7, 2025, which will remain in place until June 4, 2025.
The regulatory authority has indicated that the maximum prices for Diesel 50 will be priced at ZWG 40.79 per litre up from ZWG10.65 last month while prices in USD remain unchanged at US$1.52 .
Blend E20 is pegged at ZWG40.99 per litre up from ZWG 10.92 last month while in USD the price still remains at US$1.53 per litre.
The prices are based on the M-1 pricing mechanism and apply to the E20 blending ratio. Fuel operators are allowed to sell petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and are required to display prices prominently.
