ZERA Announces New Fuel Prices for January 2025

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced revised fuel prices for diesel and petrol blend, effective from 4 January to 4 February 2025.

Under the new pricing framework, diesel is set at USD 1.53 or ZWL 39.61, while petrol blend will cost USD 1.48 or ZWL 38.20. These adjustments reflect the authority’s periodic review aimed at aligning fuel prices with market dynamics.

ZERA emphasized the need for operators to adhere to regulations by prominently displaying fuel prices at their premises. This measure ensures transparency and allows consumers to make informed decisions when purchasing petroleum products.

The authority also urged stakeholders to rely on its official social media platforms for accurate and verified updates on fuel pricing. This effort is part of ZERA’s commitment to maintaining clarity and fostering trust within the energy sector.
