Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed willingness to step down from his position if it contributes to national and international peace.
Speaking at a recent press conference, Zelenskyy emphasized that securing Ukraine’s stability remains his top priority, and he is prepared to resign if it serves the country’s best interests.
Meanwhile, at a rally over the weekend, U.S. President Donald J. Trump claimed that America provided $350 billion to support Ukraine in its war against Russia. He stated that the U.S. expects rare minerals as compensation for the financial aid.
Trump and Zelenskyy are reportedly in discussions regarding the extent of Ukraine’s repayment for the assistance received.
Today marks three years since Russia invaded Ukraine. The war has resulted in over 43,000 military and civilian casualties, with damages exceeding $170 billion.
