VP Chiwenga and Health Minister Mombeshora to Lead SADC Malaria Day Commemorations in Zimbabwe

Vice President, Dr. Constantino .G.D.N. Chiwenga, and Health Minister Dr. Mombeshora will join other regional health leaders today at Murehwa Growth Point for the SADC Malaria Day Commemorations.
Their participation speaks to Zimbabwe’s commitment to addressing malaria and other pressing health challenges within the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
This commemorative event marks the conclusion of a joint meeting of SADC Ministers of Health and Ministers Responsible for HIV and AIDS, held in Harare since Monday.
The high-level discussions have focused on enhancing healthcare systems across the region, with topics including the fight against HIV and AIDS and strategies for improving health access and equity.
