VICTORIA FALLS TOURISM GETS ANOTHER BOOST AS AFRICA TRAVEL TOURS SCOOPS AZTA AWARD

Another major industry recognition is putting Victoria Falls tourism firmly in the spotlight, with local tour operator Africa Travel Tours named Second Runner-Up – Best Tour Operator at the Association of Zimbabwe Travel Agents (AZTA) Awards.

The recognition marks the second consecutive year that Africa Travel Tours has secured a top-three position in the Best Tour Operator category, according to the company.

For Victoria Falls, the achievement goes beyond an individual business award.

Tour operators are a critical link in the city’s tourism economy, connecting international and domestic visitors with accommodation providers, restaurants, attractions, transport operators, adventure companies, guides, curio traders and other businesses that depend on the steady flow of tourists.
