Victoria Falls City Council (VFCC) conducted a comprehensive tour of its ongoing projects to assess progress and provide updates on various developmental initiatives across the city. The tour, which included councilors and VFCC staff members, covered multiple sites, highlighting the strides made in infrastructure development and service delivery.
Among the key projects visited was the Chinotimba Clinic Rehabilitation Centre, which is currently under construction. Councilors also assessed progress at Mosi High School Library, another project still under development, aimed at enhancing educational resources for students.
The tour further covered the BE 100 Project, a crucial infrastructure development where the water level system has reached 90% completion, while the sewer system stands at 50%. Officials noted that the work rate on this project has been satisfactory, with steady progress being made.
Additionally, councilors visited Mkhosana Clinic, which officially commenced operations on February 10th. The clinic now provides essential healthcare services, including family planning, growth monitoring, general consultations, and Vitamin A supplements for children, improving access to healthcare for local residents.
The delegation also inspected the Mkhosana Water Reservoir and the Aerodrome Pump Station, assessing their progress and functionality in addressing the city’s water supply needs.
VFCC remains committed to infrastructure expansion and improved service delivery, ensuring that key projects are completed efficiently to benefit the residents of Victoria Falls. The tour provided valuable insights into the progress made and areas that require further attention to enhance urban development.
