Sikandar Raza Nominated for ICC Best Player Award

Zimbabwe’s 39-year-old T20 cricket captain, Sikandar Raza, has been nominated for the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) T20 Best Player Award for the third consecutive year.
Raza, an all-rounder, played a crucial role in Zimbabwe’s victories against major teams like India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Pakistan both last and this year.
Currently, Zimbabwe is facing Afghanistan in a test match at the Queens Sports Club. On day five, Afghanistan is batting, with Zimbabwe having scored 586 runs in 135.2 overs in their first innings. The second test innings are scheduled to begin on 2 January 2025.
