Sanganai/Hlanganani 2024 Tourism Awards: Full List of Winners

The 17th edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo concluded in grand fashion, with 408 companies exhibiting and seven countries participating. The annual expo, held in Bulawayo, was officially opened on Friday evening by Zimbabwe’s Tourism Ambassador, Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa.

The prestigious event was graced by several dignitaries, including the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality, Barbara Rwodzi, her deputy, Tongai Mafidi Mnangagwa, and Bulawayo Provincial Minister of State, Honourable Judith Ncube.

A significant moment of the night was the introduction of the Gastronomy Award, a new category in the lineup of honors. The Airports Company of Zimbabwe emerged as the standout winner, taking home the highest number of awards. The University of Zimbabwe also excelled, earning multiple accolades.

Other notable winners included FastJet, which claimed the Best Airline Award, and the Environmental Management Authority (EMA), which was recognized for its environmental initiatives, winning the Best Green Tourism Award.
