RBZ Dismisses AI-Generated Video on Crypto Trading Platform

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has dismissed as false an AI-generated video claiming the government admitted to hiding the online crypto trading platform CryptoCandor from the public.
In a statement, the RBZ clarified that the video circulating online is misleading. The video, titled “The truth is coming out! The government admits it hid this Revolutionary Platform, where 99 out of 100 investors are already earning more than $4,000! Now available to everyone!” falsely suggested that government officials had been using the platform for quick financial gains.
The RBZ warns that CryptoCandor is not a legitimate platform and is likely a pyramid or get-rich-quick scheme. The public is urged to avoid unregistered investment services and report suspicious schemes.
