PSL soccer star of the year to be crowned tonight

The Zimbabwean football fraternity will gather tonight to crown the Premier soccer league (PSL) Soccer Star of the Year in Harare.

Eleven players from various PSL clubs have been shortlisted for the prestigious award with Simba Bhora being well represented with 5 players.

Walter Musona, the club’s captain, is considered a strong contender to win the award for the second time having won it before during his time with FC Platinum in 2022.

Other notable nominees include Simba Bhora’s towering striker Tymon Machope, former Yadah forward Khama Billiat, Caps United skipper Godknows Murwira, Emmanuel Jalai of Dynamos, Bernard Donovan of Chicken Inn and Lynoth Chikuhwa of Highlanders amongst others.

The annual soccer awards ceremony will also honor the best coach, goalkeeper, referee, and other outstanding individuals in the sport.
