President Mnangagwa promotes ZNA Brigadier Generals to ranks of Major General on retirement

The Commander in chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Emmerson Mnangagwa, yesterday promoted two Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) Brigadier Generals to the ranks of Major General on retirement.
The promoted Generals are General Exsebios Vusa Tshuma and General Stanley Mangena.
The promotions come after the Zimbabwe Defense Forces Act chapter (11.02) section 20, and statutory instrument 257 of 2020, section 19c subsection 2c. This Act allows the President to promote outstanding officers for the distinguished work of service they put in.
Speaking at the promotion ceremony held yesterday, Zimbabwe Defence Forces General Philip Valerio Sibanda applauded the two two Generals for their selfless hard work and commitment to the nation.
