President Emmerson Mnangagwa officially opened the 2024 Zimbabwe Economic Development (ZEDCON) in Victoria Falls.
The Conference, themed “Building Resilience and Driving Economic Transformation Under Climate Change,” focuses on fostering an environment conducive to economic transformation and resilience in the face of Climate change.
In his address, President Mnangagwa emphasized the administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment and building resilience.
He highlighted the need for both the public and private sectors to support practical climate action.
President Mnangagwa further revealed that the Second Republic is implementing proactive fiscal policies and prudent monetary policies.
These measures are designed to guide financial institutions in supporting technological innovation and the development of the manufacturing sector.
His excellence congratulated everyone for convening this insightful event, which is growing better each year.
