President Mnangagwa challenges Iron and Steel sector to embrace forward-Looking business models

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged stakeholders in the Iron and Steel sector to adopt forward-looking business models with a regional impact. The President made these remarks while addressing the Iron and Steel Indaba in Kwekwe yesterday.

Speaking during the event, President Mnangagwa highlighted the importance of collaboration and strategic planning in driving the growth of the Iron and Steel sector. He encouraged stakeholders to work together to explore investment opportunities and strategies to grow the sector.

The Indaba, held under the theme “Leveraging the Resurgence of Zimbabwe’s Iron and Steel Industry,” brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and key players, including the Confederation of Zimbabwe.

The event provided a platform for discussions on the rebirth of the Iron and Steel industry as the country looks ahead to 2025.
