President Mnangagwa Calls for High-Impact Leadership to Achieve Upper-Middle-Income Status by 2030

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has emphasized the crucial role of accountability and results-driven leadership in guiding Zimbabwe towards its economic goals. He made these remarks while addressing Zimbabwean ambassadors at State House.
The President stressed that every initiative, program, and engagement should be strategically aligned with the national goal of transforming Zimbabwe into a prosperous upper-middle-income country by 2030.
In his call to action, President Mnangagwa underscored the need for dedication and measurable performance to achieve the country’s objectives, urging all leaders to stay focused on results.
The President also challenged ambassadors to take full ownership of their roles, setting high standards for accountability and excellence within Zimbabwe’s foreign missions.
This meeting followed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade’s Senior Management and Ambassadors’ Retreat and Strategic Review, held from 27 October to 2 November.
The retreat aimed to assess Zimbabwe’s international relations and foster discussions to strengthen the country’s global partnerships.
