President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa today handed over 90 replacement vehicles to traditional chiefs at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
During the handover ceremony, President Mnangagwa emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing the service standards of traditional leaders. He stated that providing these vehicles would facilitate the chiefs’ duties and reinforce their esteemed positions within their communities.
President Mnangagwa also underscored the crucial role that chiefs play in food distribution programs in rural areas. This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to support underprivileged communities across Zimbabwe, particularly in light of the ongoing El Niño-induced drought affecting families nationwide.
