POTRAZ to Host ICT Research Competition

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) is set to host an ICT Research Competition for institutions of higher learning (IHL) in Zimbabwe.

In a statement released on its social media platforms, POTRAZ invited submissions from state-owned IHL with existing or new projects focusing on ICT technologies. Eligible projects can explore fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Metaverse, Robotics, Big Data, Virtual Reality, 5G/6G technologies, Low Earth Orbit, and Blockchain.

The competition aims to foster a research culture in emerging technologies among universities, colleges, and vocational training centers in Zimbabwe.
