Parliament of Zimbabwe, UNICEF Partner to Advance Child Welfare

The Parliament of Zimbabwe has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UNICEF Zimbabwe, strengthening their commitment to promoting the rights and welfare of children across the country.
In a statement from UNICEF Zimbabwe, Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda emphasized the longstanding collaboration between the two institutions and the importance of the partnership in fostering an accountable parliamentary ecosystem.
The MoU marks a new chapter in their cooperation, focusing on the development of programs that protect the rights and wellbeing of children and women in Zimbabwe. UNICEF Zimbabwe Representative Etona Ekole highlighted that the partnership is rooted in shared values, mutual trust, and a unified vision for the future of children and women in the country.
The collaboration will be guided by a two-year action plan designed to deliver meaningful impact for children nationwide.
