Old Mutual Top Ten ETF to be Voluntarily Terminated and Delisted from ZSE
Written by Staff Reporter on January 15, 2025
The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) has confirmed that the Old Mutual Top Ten Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) will be voluntarily terminated and delisted, effective January 17, 2025.
ZSE Chief Executive Officer, Justin Bgoni, stated in a recent release that this decision follows a meeting held on December 12, 2024, where unit holders voted to dissolve the ETF’s listing in line with the exchange’s regulations. A circular detailing the dissolution process and the distribution of assets has been sent to all unit holders.
The ZSE has also secured approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe to proceed with the delisting. As a result, unit holders are advised that their units will no longer be tradable on the ZSE starting January 17, 2025.
Unit holders are encouraged to take note of the delisting date and make any necessary arrangements.
The Old Mutual Top Ten ETFs are investment funds traded on the stock exchange throughout the day, similar to individual stocks, and consist of the top ten largest companies in Zimbabwe.
