NRZ and ZINARA Celebrate Unity Day, Reaffirm Commitment to National Progress

The National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) Board, management, and staff, alongside the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA), have joined President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the people of Zimbabwe in celebrating the 37th anniversary of Unity Day.

Unity Day marks a significant milestone in Zimbabwe’s journey towards peace, democracy, development, and national cohesion.

In a statement, the NRZ emphasized the critical importance of national unity, noting that its business thrives in an environment of peace. As a bulk transporter of commodities, the NRZ acknowledges the value of a united nation and looks forward to future joint ventures. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to the country’s progress, with a goal of achieving an upper middle-income economy by 2030.

Similarly, ZINARA also participated in the celebrations, reiterating its commitment to fulfilling its legislative mandate. The organization, responsible for road rehabilitation, maintenance, and funding, stressed the importance of these efforts in achieving Vision 2030. By commemorating Unity Day, ZINARA demonstrated its dedication to supporting the government’s initiatives to foster national unity and development.
