Namibia’s President-elect, Netumbo Nandi Ndaitwah, has pledged to drive economic development and empower human capital in the country.
Speaking in Windhoek yesterday, Ndaitwah expressed gratitude to the Namibian people for trusting her with the presidency and assured them of her commitment to the country’s development.
She further vowed to continue the legacy of the late President Hage Geingob, who initiated various projects in 2019.
Ndaitwah is set to become Namibia’s first female head of state, with her inauguration scheduled for 21 March 2025.
