Namibia Lauds SADC for Support During the Pre-Election Period

The South West Africa People’s Organisation (SWAPO) Secretary of Information and Mobilisation has praised SADC for their support during the pre-election period.
SWAPO Secretary of Information and Mobilisation Halma Nicanor has thanked the Southern African Development Community (SADC) for their continued support as Namibia prepares for the presidential and national assembly elections to be held on Wednesday, 27 November 2024.
Namibia is gearing up to hold its presidential and national assembly elections. Vice President for the ruling party Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will run for the SWAPO party as the first female presidential candidate, Panduleni Itula will run for the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC), McHenry Venaani for the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM), which is the largest opposition party in Namibia, and Job Amupanda for the Affirmative Repositioning Party (ARP).
