NAAZ Plans Stadium Upgrades

The National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe (NAAZ) is considering renovations for White City Stadium and the National Sports Stadium track to meet international standards.

White City Stadium, which has the latest athletics equipment and hosts regional events, falls short of requirements for major championships. NAAZ President Tendai Tagara emphasized the need for upgrades, calling White City the home of athletics.

Meanwhile, NAAZ recently unveiled a new logo, symbolizing its commitment to progress, unity, and modernization. The association also hopes the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) will renovate the track at the National Sports Stadium.
