Minister Unveils Road Safety Initiative Ahead of Holidays

The Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Hon Felix T Mhona, recently launched a road safety awareness campaign yesterday ahead of the Heroes and Defense Force holidays.
The initiative, organized by the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, aims to promote safe driving practices and reduce road accidents during the holiday period.
The campaign focuses on discouraging dangerous behaviors such as drinking and driving, speeding, and overloading, which are major contributors to road crashes. The Minister emphasized the importance of responsible driving, urging motorists to prioritize human life and safety on the roads.
Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister, Hon Kazembe Kazambe, also stressed the need for road users to adopt safe behavior and avoid reckless driving to prevent loss of life.
