Min of ICT Urges Collaboration for Affordable Digital Solutions

At the recently held Computer Society of Zimbabwe (CSZ) Summit 2024 in Victoria Falls, Honorable Tatenda Annastacia Matevera, Minister of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services, urged ICT industry leaders to foster collaboration in creating accessible, efficient, and affordable digital solutions for Zimbabwe.
The summit, held from November 13 to 17 under the theme “Navigating Digital Solutions for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” brought together ICT experts to discuss how emerging technologies like the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and machine learning can help transform Zimbabwe into a smart nation.
In a statement shared on X, Hon. Matevera emphasized that the collective efforts of industry leaders were key to realizing Zimbabwe’s digital future. She commended CSZ’s 50-year contribution to the country’s technology sector and its role in promoting innovation and digital transformation.
The summit showcased Zimbabwe’s growing commitment to ICT-driven sustainable development.
