Jeys Marabini excited over New Wheels’ gift from Sir Wicknell

Legendary musician Majahawodwa Ndlovu, popularly known as Jeys Marabini, has expressed gratitude and excitement after receiving a luxury vehicle from renowned businessman Wicknell Chivayo, well known as Sir Wicknell

Marabini is the latest artist to receive a car from Chivayo, who has previously gifted vehicles to other prominent Zimbabwean musicians like Sandra Ndebele, Aleck Macheso, Jah Prayzah, just to mention a few.

Speaking in an interview with senior reporter Charity Chikara, Jeys Marabini said he was grateful for the invitation he got from President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa to perform for delegates welcoming visiting Kenyan President William Ruto. Citing that this was where businessman Chivayo witnessed his performance, earning him the new set of wheels.

Marabini, who leads the Bulawayo-based Kozekulunge group, acknowledged the support of his fans throughout his career, which stretches back to 1991.

In a social media post Sir Wicknell said the USD$48 thousand worth Toyota Hilux GD6 Dakar double cab is to honour Marabini for his contribution and continued support at ZANU PF rallies and national events throughout the years.
