Govt Unveils Non-Monetary Incentives for Defence Forces

In a bid to improve the lives of members of the defence forces, the government has launched an ongoing program offering non-monetary incentives.

The initiative, announced by President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, demonstrates the second republic’s commitment to showing appreciation for the forces’ dedication to the country.

The program includes the rollout of civil service housing loans and vehicle purchas, e schemes, aimed at supporting defence force members. Meanwhile, 3000 housing units are now ready for occupation by Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) members.

The president further highlighted that a state-of-the-art military hospital is under construction at Manyame Air Force base. The facility will be equipped with modern equipment and adequate medicines, ensuring comprehensive healthcare services for defence force members.
