Fidelity Gold Refineries (FGR) has announced plans to boost its gold production in 2025, aiming to receive a staggering 40 tonnes of gold deliveries for the coming year.

This ambitious target is fueled by the company’s strong performance this year, with a total of 24,7 tonnes already collected in the first nine months alone.

Speaking during the Zimbabwe Miners federation conference at the recent ended Mine Entra, FGR general manager Peter Magaramombe stated that this projection comes at the back of the current ongoing investements in mining infrastructure, increased small-scale mining contributions and favourable global market trends.

To further enhance gold production, Mr Magaramombe said that they are actual implementing different strategies to ensure that there is increased gold output in the country including opening more refineries across the nation.

The 2025 target of 40 tonnes will represent an increase from this year’s projected 35 tonnes, demonstrating FGR’s commitment to driving the country’s gold mining sector forward.
