Dhlakama Braces Hwange for Tough Away Fixtures, Eyes Promotion

Hwange Football Club coach Rodwell Dlakama has acknowledged the challenging road ahead for his side in the ZIFA Southern Region Division One League, particularly highlighting the numerous trips they will have to make to Bulawayo.

Despite the travel demands, Dlakama remains optimistic about his team’s prospects and has firmly stated their ambition for promotion this season.

Speaking ahead of their Saturday clash against Ajax Hotspurs at White city stadium, Dlakama emphasized his belief in the resilience and determination of his players. He stated that while the repeated journeys to Bulawayo present a hurdle, his charges are prepared to face the challenge head-on.

Meanwhile, in other ZIFA southern region division one games lined up for tommorow at 12pm, Megawatt FC will face league leaders Bulawayo Chiefs FC at Chakona Stadium.

Later in the afternoon, at 3pm, a further five matches are scheduled. Mainline FC will host Imbizo FC at Dingumuzi Stadium, while Jordan FC will battle it out against Bosso 90 at Filabusi Govt Primary School.

White City Stadium will see its second match of the day as Zebra Revolution FC takes on Bulawayo Warriors FC. Meanwhile, NUST FC will face Talen Vision FC at their home ground, NUST Stadium, and Casmyn FC will square off against Eagle Life FC at Turk Mine Stadium.
