Colonel Miniyothabo Baloyi-Chiwenga has urged communities to embrace the spirit of Ubuntu and support those in need. She made the call during the recent Godlwayo Outreach Program 2024 in Filabusi.
The outreach program provided free medical services to over 500 people from Insiza District. Specialists in various fields, including gynecology, orthopedics, urology, and neurology, offered their expertise.
Eye surgeries, spectacles, and free eye treatments were also provided. Additionally, people living with disabilities received wheelchairs.
Colonel Baloyi-Chiwenga commended the health workers and doctors who volunteered their time and expertise to make the program a success. She emphasized the importance of individuals with resources supporting their communities and helping those who are less fortunate.
The program, themed “Good Health is the Ultimate Christmas Gift,” aimed to promote health and well-being in rural communities.
