Zimbabwe national cricket team head coach Justin Sammons says his players are fired up and ready to take on the challenge ahead as they gear up for a two-match Test series against South Africa.
The Chevrons are currently in camp fine-tuning their preparations for the showdown with the newly crowned ICC World Test Champions, set to take place at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
Speaking during Chevrons training yesterday, Sammons said the players’ energy and commitment have been top-notch over the last few days.
He added that the team has gone through high-volume sessions focusing on both batting and bowling, with intensity expected to pick up further as the series draws closer.
The first Test gets underway on 28 June to 2 July , with the second scheduled to run from 6 July to the 10th of July.
