The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) has announced an upward review of toll fees at Beitbridge Border Post, with the new charges set to take effect on 1 February.
Under the revised structure, motorcycles will be charged $6, while light vehicles will pay $28. Minibuses and coaches will now pay $41 and $85, respectively. Light goods vehicles will be charged $85, heavy vehicles $122, goods vehicles $213, and abnormal load vehicles $365.
In addition to toll fees, parking charges have also been adjusted, with freight vehicles required to pay $49 and abnormal load vehicles $61.
Beitbridge Border Post, the country’s busiest inland port, handles thousands of vehicles daily, making the increase significant for cross-border transporters and motorists. ZIMRA has urged all stakeholders to familiarize themselves with the new tariffs to ensure a smooth transition when the changes come into effect.
