AFM of Zimbabwe Set for Explosive “His Presence” National Youth Conference 2026

The Apostolic Faith Mission (AFMOZ) of Zimbabwe is gearing up for a spiritual awakening as it officially unveils the powerhouse lineup of ministers and musical guests for the 2026 National Young People’s Union (YPU) Conference.

​Running from April 9th to 12th, the gathering will transform the Mufaro Conference Centre in Mushagashe into a hub of worship, revival, and youthful energy. Under the timely theme, “Walking in God’s Presence” (inspired by Daniel 3:19–27), the conference aims to equip the next generation to stand firm in their faith, even in the “fiery furnaces” of modern life.

​The conference features a robust list of seasoned preachers and leaders ready to deliver a life-changing word. Heading the delegation is AFMOZ President, Rev. Dr. C. Chiangwa, alongside the national YPU leadership including Rev. Mufanechiya and PS Ndlovu.

​Music will be a cornerstone of the “His Presence” experience. Organizers have confirmed a stellar lineup for the Saturday Music Night, featuring some of the most celebrated voices in Zimbabwean gospel:

​Minister Michael Mahendere: The “Direct Worship” icon is set to lead the youths in a deep encounter.

​Joyfull Praise Choir: Known for their infectious energy and choral excellence.

​The Cherayis: Bringing their signature harmonious worship.

​Snowy: Adding a unique and powerful dimension to the night’s ministrations.

In a move that blends spiritual fervor with youthful creativity, this year’s conference introduces Vintage Saturday. Youths are encouraged to swap modern trends for classic throwbacks, wearing vintage clothing throughout the day. This themed fashion event serves as a vibrant expression of identity and joy, celebrating the “old paths” of faith with a stylish, modern twist.

As the countdown begins, the YPU leadership has issued a clarion call to all youths across the nation: “This is not just a conference. It is a divine appointment. Come expectant, come hungry, and come ready for His Presence.”
