Minister Rwodzi Highlights tourism growth at ZTA exhibitors and tourism night 

The Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Barbara Rwodzi, has reaffirmed government’s commitment to growing Zimbabwe’s tourism sector during the Exhibitors and Tourism Night hosted by the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority on Friday.

Speaking during the event,Minister Rwodzi said the country is working to strengthen its position as a leading tourism destination by promoting investment and enhancing visitor experiences.

She noted the importance of collaboration between government and industry players, highlighting that partnerships are key to unlocking the sector’s full potential.

The minister also encouraged tourism stakeholders to take advantage of platforms such as the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair to market their products and services to both local and international audiences.

Rwodzi added that continued efforts to improve infrastructure, service delivery and destination marketing will play a crucial role in increasing tourist arrivals and boosting the sector’s contribution to the economy.
