Written by on July 19, 2024

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission & Distribution Company (ZETDC) has announced a planned power outage in Victoria Falls so as to facilitate annual maintenance works at the main 88kv ZESA substation and other switchgear.

The rotational load shedding schedule will take place from Saturday, July 29, 2024, to Tuesday, August 01, 2024, lasting four hours each day.

The affected areas include Victoria Falls town, City Council Pumping and Water Purification plants, various hotels and lodges, industrial sites, residential areas (Chinotimba, Mkhosana, Mfelandawonye, Low Density suburbs), banks and supermarkets, Zambezi Camp and Army Chalets, and surrounding areas.

Citizens are advised to treat their installations as live at all times as power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled.
