ZRP Urges Public to Follow Road Rules to Prevent Accidents

The Zimbabwe Republic Police is appealing to the public to adhere to road rules and regulations to prevent further accidents.
Speaking during a show on Skyz Metro FM Bulawayo ZRP spokesperson Inspector Abednigo Ncube emphasized the importance of drivers following the highway code, pedestrian crossings, and road signs.
Urging driving schools to prioritize teaching behavioral change, rather than just issuing licenses to individuals who are not familiar with the regulations.
Recently, five pedestrian lives were lost in six days, highlighting the need for increased caution on the roads. The police are also warning pedestrians against crossing roads while wearing earphones, as this can put their lives at risk.
The public is also advised to exercise extreme caution on the roads, and parents are urged to warn their children to be careful to prevent accidents and save lives.
