The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has urged the public to find peaceful and safe ways of resolving misunderstandings and conflicts.
This comes after a recent incident involving a 75-year-old woman who was nearly killed by her gardener, an employee, over a dispute regarding unpaid wages.
ZRP police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele, emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of tolerance, understanding, and peaceful conflict resolution.
Msebele further encouraged members of the public to seek mediation and counseling services when faced with disputes or misunderstandings.
The ZRP has also reminded the public that resorting to violence can lead to serious consequences, including arrest and prosecution.
Members of the public are encouraged to report any incidents of violence or disputes to their local police stations.
