ZPA urges caution after fatal bus accident

The Zimbabwe Passengers Association (ZPA) has issued a strong call for increased caution and adherence to road rules following a tragic bus accident along the Bulawayo-Harare highway. The accident claimed seven lives and injured several others.
ZPA General Secretary Paul Makiwa, emphasized the critical importance of regular vehicle maintenance stating that drivers must ensure their vehicles are in optimal condition before embarking on any journey.
Makiwa further highlighted the dangers of driver fatigue, urging employers to avoid overworking their drivers.
ZPA appealed to all motorists to exercise caution, patience, and respect for fellow road users with passengers encouraged to report any reckless driving behavior to authorities.
