Zimbabwean teams are off to a flying start at the CAF games, maintaining an impressive unbeaten record as they continue to represent the nation with pride

Ngezi Platinum Stars played out a goalless draw against Maniema Union in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Dynamos FC, under the guidance of interim coach Lloyd Chigowe secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against ZESCO United in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round in Botswana, thanks to a header from Tanaka Shandirwa. In a post-match address Lloyd Chigowe praised the team’s performance, urging them to build on the momentum and work even harder in preparation for the second leg.

Meanwhile, Herentals Queens are making a stellar impression in the CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA qualifiers, having secured a 1-0 victory over Zambia’s Green Buffaloes. Egness Tumbare was deservedly named Player of the Match for her outstanding performance. The team is set to face the University of Western Cape today, looking to build on their momentum.
