Zimbabwean Olympian Makanakaishe Charamba continues to make waves on the international stage after winning gold in the 200m final at the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships in Texas, USA.
He set a new record with a time of 20.13 seconds.
Following his victory, Charamba acknowledged his coach’s role in his success, describing the win as a significant achievement for both Auburn University and Zimbabwe.
The SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships is an annual competition featuring top athletes from universities in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The event includes sprints, distance runs, hurdles, jumps, and throws.
